At The Hearing Clinic UK, your hearing journey doesn’t end once you’ve received treatment or been fitted with hearing technology, it’s just the beginning. As a third-generation family of audiologists, continuity of care is central to our philosophy. We’re here to support you for the long term, ensuring that your hearing remains clear, stable and comfortable as your needs evolve.
Our aftercare is designed to give you ongoing reassurance, accessible guidance, and the expert support of the same clinician who knows you and your hearing best.
Hearing is deeply personal – it shapes communication, confidence, relationships and wellbeing. Proper aftercare ensures:
Your hearing aids remain finely tuned
You adapt comfortably to new sounds and environments
Any changes in your hearing are detected early
You always have expert support available
Your hearing journey remains smooth and stress-free
Aftercare isn’t optional. It’s an essential part of exceptional hearing healthcare.
In short, harnessing the power of advanced hearing technology is a step towards a richer, more vibrant life.
Your hearing can change gradually over time. Our annual review (£100) ensures your hearing levels are monitored, your technology is performing at its best, and any adjustments are made proactively to maintain clarity and comfort.
Premium devices benefit from ongoing care. We provide professional cleaning, component checks and firmware updates. Simple cleaning starts at £20, with full maintenance checks included in all hearing aid plans.
You’ll always have access to your dedicated clinician for advice, reassurance and adjustments. This continuity of care is fully included for all hearing aid patients.
If you ever feel your hearing has changed - or your hearing aids sound different - we’ll re-test and re-programme your devices. Most performance checks are included within hearing aid plans, or available as a standalone review from £85 per 30-minute appointment.
Wax build-up can affect clarity and device performance. We regularly check your ear health and, where required, remove wax gently using microsuction. Wax removal is £60, and includes a full ear health check, a no wax consultation fee is £30.
As technology evolves, your audiologist will guide you through relevant upgrades and enhancements. This guidance is offered at no cost as part of your ongoing care.
Our aftercare model is built on trust, consistency and continuity.
You won’t see a different clinician every time – you’ll work with the same expert who understands your hearing profile, your lifestyle and your long-term goals.
This approach helps thousands of our patients feel supported, confident and empowered throughout their hearing journey.
We partner with world-leading manufacturers to offer discreet, intelligent and beautifully engineered hearing devices, all expertly fitted and fine-tuned by our clinicians. Every recommendation is built around your lifestyle, clarity needs and comfort, ensuring technology that enhances your world, not disrupts it.
Your clinician will recommend devices based on your hearing profile, comfort preferences, and day-to-day listening environments, ensuring your technology fits seamlessly into your life.
It is considered the gold-standard because it avoids water, reduces infection risks, and allows full visual control of the ear canal at every stage.
