Hearing Care Membership Terms and Conditions

1. Membership Overview

The Hearing Care Membership (“the Membership”) is provided by The Hearing Clinic UK and offers members access to selected hearing care services and benefits in exchange for a recurring monthly payment.

Membership benefits may include:

  • Hearing assessments
  • Routine hearing aid servicing and adjustments
  • Ear wax removal (where clinically appropriate)
  • Priority appointments
  • Ongoing aftercare support
  • Discounts or contributions towards hearing aid technology and accessories

Included services may vary depending on the membership selected.

2. Membership Eligibility

Membership is available to individuals aged 18 years or over and is subject to clinical suitability.

All hearing care recommendations remain at the discretion of The Hearing Clinic UK clinicians.

3. Minimum Membership Term

The Membership is subject to a minimum term of 12 months from the date of sign-up.

By enrolling, the member agrees to maintain monthly payments for the full 12-month minimum term.

After the initial 12-month period, the Membership will continue on a rolling monthly basis unless cancelled in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

4. Membership Payments

  • Membership fees are collected monthly via the approved payment provider.
  • By joining the Membership, the member authorises recurring monthly payments.
  • Membership fees are non-refundable once collected.
  • Missed or failed payments may result in suspension of membership benefits until the account is brought up to date.
  • The Hearing Clinic UK reserves the right to recover outstanding membership balances where appropriate.

5. Cooling-Off Period

Members may cancel within 14 days of joining for a full refund, provided no membership services, discounts, or benefits have been used.

Where benefits or services have been used within the cooling-off period, reasonable charges may apply.

6. Cancellation

During the Minimum Term

Membership cannot normally be cancelled during the initial 12-month minimum term unless:

  • the member has relocated outside a reasonable service area,
  • there is a medical or clinical reason preventing continued use,
  • or exceptional circumstances apply at the discretion of management.

Where cancellation is approved during the minimum term, outstanding membership payments for the remainder of the term may still apply.

After the Minimum Term

Following completion of the 12-month minimum term, members may cancel at any time by providing 30 days’ notice.

Membership benefits will remain active until the end of the paid notice period.

7. Membership Benefits & Usage

Membership benefits:

  • are non-transferable,
  • apply only to the registered member,
  • and are subject to appointment availability and clinical suitability.

Unused benefits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged or refunded.

8. Hearing Aid Benefits

Any hearing aid replacement, upgrade, contribution, or discount benefits included within the Membership:

  • remain subject to clinical recommendation,
  • may require minimum qualifying periods,
  • and may involve additional charges depending on technology selected.

9. Clinical Responsibility

Membership does not guarantee suitability for any hearing aid, treatment, or procedure.

All clinical decisions remain the responsibility of the treating clinician.

10. Privacy & Data Protection

Personal data will be processed in accordance with UK GDPR and The Hearing Clinic UK Privacy Policy.

By joining the Membership, members consent to:

  • account administration,
  • payment processing,
  • appointment communications,
  • and service-related contact.

11. Changes to Membership

The Hearing Clinic UK reserves the right to amend:

  • membership pricing,
  • included services,
  • or membership structure,

with reasonable notice provided to members.
