Wireless microphones
Bring the speaker closer.
A Roger microphone picks up speech near the person talking and sends it wirelessly to a compatible hearing device. It can be helpful when the speaker is further away or the room is noisy.

Good to know
That depends on the exact hearing aid and Roger microphone. Some Phonak hearing aids connect through RogerDirect. Other set-ups may need a compatible receiver.
Start with the situation you want to improve. A conversation across a table, a meeting with several speakers and a talk from the front of a room can each call for a different set-up.
Find the make and model of your hearing aids, and the model of any microphone or receiver you already use. If you’re unsure, bring the devices to your appointment.
Your next step
